The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army in Malaysia has a range of corps (churches) and social service programmes that provide both spiritual guidance and practical assistance to people in need. The Army also manages residential care homes for children, youth and the aged and has also developed other services such as day care centres, a special education learning centre, kindergartens, emergency relief and community service centres.
The Salvation Army in Malaysia is part of the Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand Territory with its headquarters in Bishan, Singapore. Our Regional Headquarters in Bandar Puteri, Puchong is the central point of contact for enquiries.
The Salvation Army in Malaysia was established as an Act of Parliament, under the Salvation Army (Incorporation) Ordinance 1956. This Ordinance is now known as the Salvation Army (Incorporation) Act 1956 (Act 690)
